"Red Thread" evokes the intricate textures of discovered items like leaves, aged drawings on delicate paper, feathers, and two-dimensional materials such as charcoal, gesso, and archival ink integrated into a canvas panel. Handwritten script meanders throughout the piece, fragmenting into streams of consciousness akin to threads running through the surface.
My artistic inspiration stems from a desire to capture the essence of my environment and the natural beauty of the land I inhabit. I strive to capture the essence of location and landscape in my artistic endeavors, avoiding an overemphasis on hyperrealism.

We possess a symbiotic relationship that involves each of us interacting with others, enriching not just our own existence but also safeguarding the delicate and extensive interconnected network that sustains us.

The ethereal glow of moonlight filtering through the billowing clouds and casting its radiant beams across the rippling water is a mesmerizing spectacle that occurs with each passing month. Echoes of just a hint of moonlight!
The sight unfolding before me lingers in my thoughts whenever I gaze out at the vast expanse of the ocean. When the moon ascends or descends on the horizon, I am enveloped by a serene and contemplative sensation that deeply resonates within me.
As the imminent weather changes approach, we all sense the palpable tension in the atmosphere, reminiscent of a gathering storm and the overwhelming surge of emotions on the brink of eruption. Our senses become heightened, our hair stands on end, and even the trees seem to bow in anticipation of the necessary adaptability to accommodate the impending shift. How would you describe the sensation of your mood as the storm draws near.
Birds possess an innate ability to return to their nests when faced with approaching storms, but what about those that are far out at sea? It is not uncommon for us to find ourselves at great distances from our homes when we sense the turbulent seas on the horizon. However, it is the unwavering belief in our strength within that acts as a barrier against the tumultuous seas, granting us the resilience to persevere until we reach stable land.
Occasionally, one may feel akin to a solitary vessel far out at sea, making its way back home with the moon as its guiding light through the Straits, the ultimate destination in sight.
