“KEEP OUT” features an inviting holiday Queenslander by the shoreline, shaded by a beautiful paperbark tree. Despite its charm, a clear message warns passer-by’s to stay away. Since I couldn’t visit, I chose to paint it, making this scene accessible to everyone through my art.

“Rainforest Walk” is inspired by a walk with friends through the magnificent subtropical rainforest of Mary Cairncross Scenic Reserve near Maleny. Home to centuries-old trees and a diverse array of animals and plants. My painting aims to capture the wonder I felt while immersed in its beauty.

“Evening Light” captures a moment on the Maleny-Kenilworth Road. The rain had passed, and a soft, beautiful pink light filled the evening sky, highlighting the Maleny National Park mountains. This painting seeks to convey the serene beauty of that peaceful evening.
“Obi Obi Creek” flows through a lush rainforest, creating waterholes and rushing waterfalls. It was on the path to Gardeners Fall that I captured this image of filtered light through the trees. This cool and reflective place inspired me to convey its serene beauty in my painting.
“Gardeners Fall” depicts the beauty of Obi Obi Creek as it flows through shaded waterholes and over a cliff into a small waterfall. Inspired by standing at the water’s edge, this painting captures the serene connection between water, earth, and forest. I wish to share the tranquility and inspiration of this natural landscape.
“Enchanted Tree” was inspired by a recent visit to Cairns. Sitting outside my cabin, surrounded by the forest and listening to birds, I felt the magic and inspiration of the place. This painting captures that enchanting experience, reflecting the serene and captivating beauty of nature.
“Turtle Reef” was inspired by snorkeling over the vibrant and healthy reef at Fitzroy Island. The sight of the colourful reef and the enchanting green sea turtle was truly captivating. This painting captures the thrill and beauty of that encounter.

“Last Glow” captures the fleeting beauty of a moment in the Imbil State Forest, witnessed in the last light of day. The painting was created during my Artist in Residency @art_workshops_Montville where I embraced a playful, hands-on approach ,using my fingers as brushes to convey the scene’s spontaneity and warmth.
